Traditional music represents the art and culture of the specific geographical location. From primitive ages, people across the world have their own traditional songs and dances according to their customs and virtues. In other words, this music is referred as folk music. Not so many advanced instruments are used in these songs but only some handmade instruments such as trumpets, drums, tabla etc. Hence, basically this music is known as vocal music as it has meaningful messages and lyrics.

The verses of the lyrics symbolize any epic story related to the particular culture. They may be like story narrator or just emotional songs. Most of them are sung without the application of any instrument but sometimes any traditional instrument may be played for some special purpose. Generally these verses belong to the specific episode of particular epic. Also these traditional songs may be in the memory of traditional heroes or battles.

Some songs are devotional and may have the taste of mystery and supernatural powers such as hymns. In western culture, traditional Christmas and Gregorian songs are of religious flavor. Also some traditional songs are sung while working in groups such as farming and wedding ceremonies. Labors normally sing these songs to encourage their efforts with rhythmic tones.

Hence, traditional music stands for cherish and enjoy of local folks. In ancient times, when there were not so many mediums of entertainment, these songs were the only medium of entertainment for the people. This form of music has a very strong appeal and deeper influence.

Music is known for its inspirational natural power of expressing the emotions without the limits of languages. The true lovers of music can recognize the feelings of musician. The true music must have three basic factors to convey its message: Rhythm, melody and harmony. Every composition might follow these basics for getting deeper in the heart.

Some other facts, such as locality, nationality, and distinct ideas also affect a composition. Every part of the globe has different culture and thus styles of the music differ but still the melody and rhythm are responsible for its global appeal. The local customs and instruments make a localized music different from the rest parts of the world.

Every genre of music follows its pattern and hence can be recognized easily with its formation. Such as hip hop and salsa has very distinct patterns and an experienced music listener can easily differentiate the tunes and patterns of both of these dance genres. Lyric defines the mood of music-Club music has totally different and fast lyric while a relaxed mood music has sweet and slow lyrics generally with guitars.

A complete song can successfully convey its message to audience. The message may belong to love or anger, joy or sorrow etc. The vocal songs have their roots in classical such as nursery rhythmic songs while the jazz or blues music have a folk background. Ballad genus includes sudden and vivid events during performance. Traditional folk songs are sung by the folk and can easily establish a direct connection with audiences.

Many reasons are there for which one should not download illegal music. Music is much ubiquitous these days. Younger people as well as most music lovers will like to benefit from the downloading of free and other music albums getting exotic music paying nothing. However, they should be aware of the consequences that could accrue from such downloading.

One should understand that taking the music for free, one is getting around the young artist supporting individual artist but also is harming the music industry and limiting the future artists and his or her creativity.It does not mean that such arguments are advanced only because downloading music for free is illegal and also with the fact that in certain cases it has lead to litigation and prosecution faced by people. In fact the arguments against such downloads is moral as well as practical. One thing remains clear. Downloading without paying anything is another form of stealing and it cannot be denied how strong the arguments in support of such downloading are advanced by anyone.

Not paying people for their hard work is not only unethical but immoral. Even if the stealing is considered to have been made from some big recording companies it will not have any meaning. Record companies have many employees to support. Such people deserve the payments for their labor and that is what the stealer is depriving him or her of.
Smaller enterprises are even worst hit with such stealing. They cannot survive their plunging sales of records and that is the problem created for them due to illegal music downloads. It is the conjunction point of moral with practical with music industry losing the little creativity as well as the drive that is left in it.It is not moral, it is not practical, and it deprives deserving people of their creativity and livelihood.
